Refund policy
Last updated 2026-09-08
Reports are delivered instantly, which changes how cancellation works. Here is the whole picture, in plain language.
If something breaks, you get your money back
If your report does not load, arrives incomplete, or is not what you paid for, we fix it or refund you in full. Email support@thehalfsaid.com and tell us what happened. You do not need to justify anything beyond that.
The EU and UK right of withdrawal
Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right can be waived, and because your report unlocks the instant you pay, we ask you to waive it at checkout by ticking this box:
“I want immediate access to my full report, and I understand that I lose my right to withdraw once it unlocks.”
The box is not pre-ticked, and you cannot complete a purchase without it, because delivery is immediate. Your order confirmation email repeats this consent so you have a durable record of it. If you did not tick it, you did not waive anything.
After the report unlocks
Once your full report has unlocked, we generally do not offer refunds for change of mind — the content has been delivered in its entirety and cannot be returned. The exception is the paragraph above: if it is broken or wrong, that is on us.
We would much rather refund you than have you dispute a charge with your bank, so please write to us first. We answer every email.
Nothing renews by itself
The Half-Said has no subscriptions. Every purchase is a single payment. There is nothing to cancel and you will never be charged a second time without buying something again.
Who charges you
Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record and appears as the seller on your statement and invoice. Any local sales tax or VAT is included in the total you see before paying.
